2010 Primary Election

May 15, 2010

Nevada’s 2010 primary election voting is Tuesday, June 8. Meanwhile, a vast field of candidates is vying for your attention with a variety of promises and attacks on their opponents. If nothing else, the process is doing a good job of accentuating the deep divisions cutting across all levels of the political spectrum. Despite all the dissension, voting is still the best way we have for letting us participate in decisions that affect everyone.

If you can’t or don’t wish to vote on election day, you can vote early from May 22 through Friday, June 4. You have until May 18 to register to vote in the 2010 primary election and until October 11 for the general election. Nevada does not provide for online voter registration.
