Star Tours at Northstar-at-Tahoe

July 28, 2010

The night sky is endlessly fascinating, if you can see it. City dwellers, bathed in light all night long, have lost touch with the heavens. If you would like to see and learn about our neighborhood in the universe, Tahoe Star Tours is offering several evenings of celestial exploration under the clear and dark skies at Northstar-at-Tahoe resort near Lake Tahoe. Led by star guide Tony Berendsen, these tours will take participants on a variety of journeys through our solar system, our home galaxy the Milky Way, and beyond.

Tahoe Star Tours are held in facilities of the Ritz-Carlton at Northstar. Participants will ride the Highlands Gondola to the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club at 8:30 p.m. to begin their star gazing evening. Ticket are $30 per adult and $15 for children ages 12 and under. You can reserve tickets online or call 1.800.GO.NORTH for ticket information.

Here are the remaining dates for 2010…
