Balloon Race Special at Nevada Humane Society

September 10, 2010

In the spirit of the Great Reno Balloon Race, Nevada Humane Society has set a high adoption goal of 150 pets and they are asking for help from animal lovers to reach this goal. From September 11 through 13, you can adopt an adult dog (four months and older, excluding specially priced dogs) for $45, one kitten for $40, two kittens for $60, or an adult cat for FREE! All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making this an elevated deal.

“Adopting an animal to join your family means saving a life,” said Vonice Reed, Cat Care Manager for Nevada Humane Society. “The Great Reno Balloon Race is a great reason to get together with your family and come by to adopt a pet.”

Don’t miss Nevada Humane Society’s hot air balloon and booth at the Great Reno Balloon Race, then float down to the shelter and meet the perfect, furry addition to your family. An experienced adoption counselor will help you find the perfect pet for your family. Like the balloon races, adopting a pet is truly an uplifting experience.

Nevada Humane Society’s shelter, at 2825 Longley Lane in Reno, is open for adoptions every day from 11am to 6:30pm and on Saturdays from 10am. For more information, call (775) 856-2000.
