There will lots of yummy Halloween candy for the kids and the adoptable dogs will be wearing their Halloween costumes. Each new pet adopter will receive a starter bag of food and treats, courtesy of Mars Petcare. Visitors can also tour the facility to learn how pet food is manufactured.

“We are so grateful to the folks at Mars Petcare for helping save homeless pets in our community,” said Bonney Brown, Executive Director of Nevada Humane Society. “Mars has a corporate commitment to helping homeless pets in the communities wherever they are located, but we are so very fortunate that our local Mars team has been so deeply invested in saving the lives of dogs and cats in Washoe County.”
