Holiday Open House at the Wilbur D. May Center

Children of all ages will enjoy hearing holiday stories in an enchanted forest, making Christmas crafts, singing carols, visiting with one of Santa’s elves, taking a winter walk in the garden and checking out home made gingerbread houses during the Wilbur D. May Center’s Holiday Open House from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11. This family event is free.

On the same day, members of the Sierra Watercolor Art Angels will help children ages 7 to 12 create their own holiday watercolor masterpieces during a free art workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Wilbur May Museum in Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. The workshop is limited to 50 participants. Supplies will be provided. Parents or guardians are asked to remain at the museum during the workshop. Parents may sign up in advance by calling the museum at (775) 785-5961.
