Nevada Humane Society Saved 9,500 Pets in 2010 – Watch the Video

December 29, 2010

Check out Nevada Humane Society’s new video on YouTube, celebrating the over 9,500 dogs and cats that were saved in 2010. The accompanying music is the popular song “How to Save a Life” by The Fray. The video was created by NHS staff member Kimberly Chandler and volunteer Edna Dianda.

“This video shows the essence of our work and how much our staff and volunteers truly care about every single animal here at the shelter. But it’s because of donors that we are able to offer so much love as we patiently work to find them loving homes,” said Kimberly Chandler, Development and Community Programs Assistant.

If you were one of the many who adopted a pet this year, volunteered your time, or donated, you helped make this lifesaving work for homeless pets possible. Thank you so much and Happy Holidays from all of us at Nevada Humane Society!

It’s not too late to make a year-end donation to help the animals. Just donate online or send a check before January 1 and your gift will be tax-deductible on your 2010 income tax return. For more information, visit Nevada Humane Society or call (775) 856-2000.
