June is Adopt a Cat Month at the Nevada Humane Society

June 1, 2011

June is National Adopt a Cat Month and at Nevada Humane Society we are celebrating cats and cat adoptions by waiving adoption fees for cats over six months old.

Nevada Humane Society

Everyone who adopts a cat in June will receive a free “Adopt a Cat” static-cling sticker with an adorable cat on it for your car window. The stickers will help spread the word about the joy of adopting a cat. Adopters will also get a free Nevada Humane Society t-shirt. All cats are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before being adopted. These services would normally cost over $200.

Nevada Humane Society is open for adoptions 7 days a week, from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm and an hour earlier at 10:00 am on Saturdays, at the main adoption center, 2825 Longley Lane, Reno. By adopting a pet, you save an individual life and help make Washoe County one of the safest places for homeless animals. For more information, call (775) 856-2000.
