Kitten Food & Clay Cat Litter Donations Urgently Needed at the Nevada Humane Society

July 21, 2011

The community has been so generous in providing food for the homeless pets, but Nevada Humane Society is seeing a huge influx of kittens and cats at the shelter and needs to ask for your help in providing care for these animals.

“We are in need of items such as Kitten Chow, canned kitten food, and Kitten Milk Replacement (KMR) more than any other items on our wish list right now,” said Denise Stevens, Operations Director for Nevada Humane Society. “We also need clay cat litter, the old-fashioned kind, not scoopable. We’re very grateful for any help with these items.”

  • Dry kitten food
  • Canned kitten food
  • Kitten Milk Replacer (KMR)
  • Clay cat litter – non-clumping, old fashioned cat litter

Tax deductible donations of pet food may be delivered daily, between 11:00 am and 6:30 pm, to the Nevada Humane Society’s shelter at 2825 Longley Lane, Reno, between Rock Blvd. and Mira Loma Ave. On Saturdays, the shelter opens an hour earlier at 10:00 am.
