Meeting about the Virginia Street Bridge Project

July 25, 2011

The Virginia Street Bridge, located at the heart of downtown Reno, must be replaced in the interest of flood protection and public safety. The City of Reno, in partnership with the Truckee River Flood Management Authority and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has initiated a plan to replace the bridge while respectfully preserving its rich history.

Please join us for a public information meeting to learn about the project, its process and its progress. This is a great opportunity to provide feedback about the bridge types and preliminary themes and to learn more about the historic significance of the bridge.

When: Aug. 2, 2011 – 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Where: McKinley Arts and Culture Center, 925 Riverside Drive, Reno, NV 89503
