Rev up those hotrods and get out the poodle skirts and Dixie Peach pomade – Hot August Nights is about to hit the streets of Reno. The 2011 edition gets rolling in Reno and Sparks on August 9, following the Hot August Nights South Lake Tahoe Experience that starts on August 6. The latter event is an official warm-up for the real thing here in the Truckee Meadows.

And that rumor about Hot August Nights moving to Long Beach, CA? The issue appears to have been resolved and it ain’t happenin’. The folks in the Hot August Nights organization who were promoting the idea have gone away.
