Final Pet Olympics Competition at Nevada Humane Society

September 21, 2011

Visit Nevada Humane Society on Saturday, September 24 for the final round of Pet Olympic Games. Exciting competitions will take place from 10 a.m. to noon with dogs, cats, kittens, and pocket pets competing in hilarious “Olympic” games like Kitten Speed Curtain Climbing, Doggy Water Ballet, and the ever-popular Rat Races. Adopt your own gold medalist for the price you choose. This special offer applies to pets four months and older and excludes specially priced dogs.

Each cat, dog and kitten available for adoption has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, normally a $200 value. When you adopt a cat or dog, you are also helping Nevada Humane Society win the National Pet Adoption Challenge that could include $100,000 for homeless pets in our community.

Nevada Humane Society’s shelter is located at 2825 Longley Lane in Reno and is open Sunday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. For more information, call (775) 856-2000.
