Reno Zombie Crawl this Saturday

October 26, 2011

“Death is no reason to stop drinking.” If you agree with that, don your best dead person costume and get to downtown Reno on Saturday, October 29, at around 8 p.m. for the Reno Zombie Crawl. This is a special Halloween edition of the monthly Reno Beer Crawl, held every 4th Saturday of the month.

For $5, you get a map and a bracelet that will gain you entry into around 30 crawl bars, sign you up for contests, and entitle you to $2 and $3 drink specials. At 7 p.m., before the crawl starts, zombies can gather at the Reno Arch for a mass thriller dance on the streets of Reno. This is part of a world record attempt in conjunction with hundreds of other cities. While the crawl is obviously a 21+ affair, the thriller dance is open to all ages. Proceeds from the Reno Zombie Crawl benefit the Northern Nevada chapter of the American Red Cross.
