Children’s stories from the Land of Tut

February 22, 2012

Children are invited to hear an array of stories, legends and adventures from the land of the Pharaohs when they visit the Wilbur May Museum’s King Tut: “Wonderful Things” from the Pharaoh’s Tomb at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012.

Children’s stories from the Land of Tut feature local storyteller Kathleen Durham and her magical menagerie of characters from the tiny world of Underwood. Some of the more adventurous Underfolk have decided to take an adventure to Egypt to help Fred Mouse find his ancestors.

Children’s story times are included with the cost of exhibit admission – $9 adults, $8 children under 18 and seniors 62 and over. Groups of 15 or more are $6 per person.

The Wilbur D. May Museum is in Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, 1595 N. Sierra Street in Reno. For more information, call (775) 785-5961.
