Animal Ark Opening for 2012

Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary & Nature Center opens it doors for the 2012 season on the weekend of Saturday, March 31, and Sunday, April 1. Visitors will get to welcome and enjoy two new feline residents – an orphaned cougar cub named Daniel, and El Santo, a rare jaguar cub. Animal Ark will be celebrating 31 years at this location. The Ark shelters non-releasable wildlife and educates guests of all ages about the animals and their habitats. You can see many Nevada predators as well as raptors and exotic species such as cheetahs and tigers.

Regular Visiting Hours:
Tuesday- Sunday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
 
Admission:
$6.50 for Children
$8 for Seniors
$9.50 for Adults
Free for 2 & under

Directions:
From Reno, take Highway 395 North, go right on Red Rock,
11.5 miles, then turn right onto Deerlodge Road and
follow to our signed driveway at 1265.
