On November 18, 2011, the Caughlin Fire burned approximately 24 acres of Bartley Ranch Regional Park. Restoration efforts have been underway since the fire, with many individuals and organizations helping to rebuild many of the bridges, fences and trails. The proceeds from this concert will help provide Washoe County Parks with funding to continue the revegetation of the area. This popular portion of the park has been closed for restoration since the fire and establishing native vegetation is vital to its re-opening.

Bartley Ranch Regional Park is at 6000 Bartley Ranch Road, about a mile south of S. McCarran Blvd. on Lakeside Drive in south Reno.
