Reno Aces 2013 baseball season begins

March 26, 2013

Baseball is a sure sign of spring has come to Reno. On Thursday, April 3, Aces Ballpark will be packed with fans for the first home game of the season when the Reno Aces play the El Paso Chihuahuas. The first pitch will be at 6:35 p.m.

If you would like to be there, be sure to get tickets as soon as you can. The Reno Aces put on a great show and games are a popular pasttime. Season openers have frequently sold out.

This will be the Aces’ sixth season in Reno. They take the field in 2014 under the leadership of new manager Phil Nevin. Brett Butler, who managed the Reno Aces for their first five years at Aces Ballpark, has moved on to a coaching job with the Miami Marlins.

If you can’t make it to the first game, check out the 2014 Reno Aces game schedule for the rest of this season’s games.
