Two free rabies vaccination and microchipping clinics

June 22, 2014

The SPCA of Northern Nevada and Washoe County Regional Animal Services will be co-hosting two clinics offering pet owners free rabies vaccination and microchip services for their pets.

Both clinics will be held at Miguel Ribera Park on Neil Road in Reno. The first on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the second on Saturday, June 28, 2014, also from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. These free rabies vaccination and microchip clinics are open to all Washoe County pet owners.

This is the second time in 2014 that the SPCA and Washoe County Regional Animal Services have partnered to offer the public free vaccination and microchipping clinics. “It is important for the SPCA, and it is one of our missions, to ensure dogs have a rabies vaccination,” SPCA Director Tom Jacobs said. “And who better to partner with than Washoe County Regional Animal Services. It is for the pet’s benefit and for the benefit of our community.”
