Ahoy! It’s the Reno Pirate Crawl

July 4, 2014

The 5th Annual Reno Pirate Crawl is an adult drinking event. As the name implies, the Crawl involves visiting over 20 downtown Reno bars, drinking, and being dressed up in some sort of pirate-related costume while crawling. It’s $5 to join the merriment, which gets you $2 and $3 drink and beer specials, participation in costumes contests, and more. You’ll also be stimulating local business and having a lot of fun.

The Crawl is on Saturday, July 12, starting at 8 p.m. Pick up your cup and crawl map at Harrah’s Plaza in downtown Reno (next to the Reno Arch). Pre-crawl cups are available from Junkee Clothing Exchange. Should you need pirate costumes and other booty, check out these local shops for your crawling supplies. A portion of the proceeds from the Reno Pirate Crawl are donated to local charities.

There are lots of related events in Reno if you like this sort of thing. Learn about more from “Reno Beer, Bar, and Pub Crawls.”
