The first hike will be on Friday from the Thomas Creek Trailhead at the end of Timberline Road, starting at 3 p.m. All hikes are free. There will be three more, on October 23, 30, and November 6, 2015.

A Wicked Wine Walk is on Saturday, October 17, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In October, it’s themed for Halloween. Visit any of the start locations with $20 and receive your wine glass and hand stamp (with photo ID), then make the rounds sampling wines at numerous businesses in the area.

The first ever OutWest Film Fest is October 16 – 18, 2015. This is a three-day festival celebrating LGBTQ films with screenings, discussions and parties held across downtown Reno.
