Registering to vote in Washoe County, Nevada

February 14, 2016

If you want to participate in the upcoming presidential caucuses and/or vote in the general election in November, you must be registered to vote. Fortunately, this is a pretty quick and easy process here in Nevada.

You can take care of this by applying in person at the Washoe County Registrar of Voters Office. You can also pick up a voter registration form at post offices, the Nevada DMV, city clerk’s offices, and several other locations around town.

Online voter registration is available through the Nevada Secretary of State’s website. To use this system, you will need to have either a Nevada driver’s license or ID card issued by the Nevada DMV.
