Out and About with Reno Parks, Recreation and Community Services

March 5, 2016

“Out and About” is a Reno community outing program geared for people with disabilities 15 years old and up, along with their caregivers / companions. It is one of the “City of Reno Inclusion and Adaptive Programs” available to residents.

Reno has released the new spring 2016 Out and About calendar of upcoming activities. There is quite a variety, including bowling, pizza making at Whole Foods, a visit to the National Automobile Museum, art projects, miniature golf, go-karts, an April Fools dance, and more. There is a small fee for each activity, ranging from $3 to $9.

Space is limited for these activities. To sign up, call (775) 334-2262. Call (775) 333-7765 or email wolfea@reno.gov to RSVP for the dance and other upcoming events.
