“Come in from the Cold” – family-friendly entertainment in Reno

January 4, 2017

“Come in from the Cold” is a family entertainment series brought to you by Washoe County Parks and the performers themselves.

The series of performances is held in the Western Heritage Interpretive Center at Bartley Ranch Regional Park. All shows are on Saturday evenings starting at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. The first show in the 2017 series is on January 7 and they will be weekly through March 18. Here are the January shows. See the rest in my “Come in from the Cold Family Entertainment Series” article.

  • January 7 – Northern Nevada Bluegrass Association: Monday Night Volunteers
  • January 14 – Sierra Silverstrings
  • January 21 – Ricochet
  • January 28 – Highway 40

The Bartley Ranch Regional Park Western Heritage Interpretive Center is at 6000 Bartley Ranch Road in south Reno. Seating is limited to 200 people and there are no reservations. If you really want to get in, don’t show up at the last minute or you will stay out in the cold. For more information, call (775) 828-6612 or (775) 823-6500. A $3 per person donation is requested to help support this and future park programs.
