2017 Reno Earth Day celebration

The annual Reno Earth Day celebration returns to Idlewild Park on Sunday, April 23, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is one of Reno’s most popular big events and there is something to do for everyone in the family. Attending Reno Earth Day is free, including musical entertainment, kid activities, food trucks and lots of information about environmentally friendly products and services. Exhibits and activities at Reno Earth Day are divided into several theme areas.

  • Animalia Kingdom
  • The Artists’ Grove
  • Earth Innovations
  • The Garden
  • The Great Outdoors
  • Future of Transportation
  • Many Spokes for Many Folks

Up in the north Lake Tahoe area, you can enjoy Tahoe Truckee Earth Day on Saturday, April 22, 2017. At the other end of the lake, South Tahoe Earth Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2017. More information about both of these events is available from my Earth Day article.
