Free concerts at new events venue in downtown Reno

July 11, 2017

The City of Reno is adding a new downtown special events space. It’s located near the Reno Arch, on the ReTRAC east train trench cover. The fenced event space will have new trees and cafe-style string lighting. The fencing allows for legal alcohol consumption, which is not legal on the streets and outside of designated event areas.

To get the new space up and running this summer, Reno is hosting a free Thursday night concert series featuring local musicians. The Eldorado is partnering with the City of Reno to sell drinks within the event space and provide additional seating during the concert series. Reno is also seeking local food trucks and artists to add to the event. Shows are from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Here’s the lineup for the remainder of the series…
