Reno Adaptive Recreation for early 2021

January 27, 2021

The City of Reno Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide range of inclusive / adaptive programs and activities, including sport leagues, programs for veterans, rentals and volunteer opportunities. The goal is to provide accommodations to people with disabilities so that full participation in leisure and recreation programs, classes, services and facilities may be enjoyed by all.

In the spirit of access for all, the new Jennifer M. O’Neal Community Ice Arena is offering a free clinic where participants with physical disabilities will get a change to learn about sled hockey and get on the ice. All equipment and on-ice instruction provided. The session will be on Saturday, February 6, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The ice arena is at 15500 Wedge Parkway in south Reno.

To participate, sign up online. Call (775) 333-7765 for more information.
