Pogonip is the Native American word for frozen fog that sometimes settles over the Reno area during winter. It coats everything with ice crystals. Photo © Stan White

    we get frozen fog in Montana as well, it’s one of the oddest things I have ever seen. You did a terrific job photographing the ice crystals!
