Tour de Nez bicycle racing in Reno

June 8, 2017

The annual Tour de Nez bicycle races will be staged on the streets of downtown Reno on Saturday, June 10, 2017. This colorful, family-friendly event brings a gathering of top pro bike racers to compete in criterium and handcycle racing and offers several other events in which us regular riders can participate.

The start/finish line is on California Street. The race course follows several streets in the vicinity, making a loop of about a mile. There are great spots to get close to the action all along the route, but be careful and heed the course marshals – the pro riders are really flying. Spectating is free and open to the public.

After bike races in the morning, the afternoon will feature kids races and the Vintage Bike Lap for bicycles at least 25 years old. These events are open to everyone and there is no entry fee. A bit later, the pros return to the course for their racing finals. Check out “Tour de Nez Bicycle Racing in Reno” for the schedule and other event details.
